He entered postgraduate course in the Institute of Botany of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (present doctorate) (1963);
He defended his PhD thesis at the Chemistry Department of LSU (1967);
He defended his D.Sc dissertation on Bioorganic Chemistry, Chemistry of Natural and Physically Active Substances and Organic Chemistry (Fine Organic Synthesis) and received a PhD in Chemistry (1984);
He was titled Senior Researcher (1979);
He was titled Professor (1991);
His research work focuses on the creation of new cardiovascular, immunomodulators and anti-virus medications. For the first time, the patented scientific direction of synthetic antigens (immunomodulators and their conjugated antigens) and calcium ions antagonists has been developed by him;
First in the chemical-pharmacological studies of natural heterocyclic compounds and their synthetic analogues have been found not only the conductivity of L-type potential-dependent calcium channels, but also the antagonists of the new generation of calcium ions (obtusifol, decursinol, diumankal or their analogue), which actively influences the conductivity of N and T-type calcium channels widely spread in the central nervous system;
The author of more than 260 scientific articles and theses, including 7 monographs, 17 author's certificates of USSR, 10 Russian patents and 3 Italian patents.
"The 50th Anniversary of the Soviet People's Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945" Medal (1995);
