The main purpose of the development of the information system "Diaspora of Azerbaijani Scientists" is to create a single source of information about Azerbaijani scientists living abroad, to introduce their achievements in the country and the world, as well as expand the opportunities for joint cooperation.

The information system "Diaspora of Azerbaijani scientists" is open, therefore, its regular improvement and appropriate modifications, also addition of new information about scientists living abroad are available.
