He defended his PhD dissertation on "Polygonal Polynomials in Quasiconformal Border Areas" at the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics (IAMM) of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (UAS) (1986);

He defended his D.Sc dissertation on the theme of "Orthogonal Polynomials and Biberbax Polynomials" at the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics (IMM), Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) (2003);

Professor;

He conducts studies on Biberbax polynomials, some of their generalizations and the evolution of the properties of the Fourier sequences on the orthogonal polynomials, as well as the study of behavioural trends in various regions of the complex stratum of the ortogenic polynomials and arbitrary algebraic polynomials;

More than 150 scientific works have been published in scientific journals of a number of countries around the world.

He has been trained in the Department of Functional Theory of the  IAMM UAS (1980), trained in the postgraduate study (now doctorate) in mathematical analysis (1984);

He has worked as a junior scientific worker, scientific worker, senior scientific worker at the Department of Mathematical Analysis of ANAS (1986-1994);

He continued his scientific career in Turkey (since 1997);

He worked as a teacher at the Karadeniz Technical University in Trabzon;

He has been working as a Dean of the Faculty of Science and Literature at Mersin University (2008-2011), currently head of the mathematics department. He has actively participated in the establishment of scientific relations between Mersin University and universities of Canada, France, Ukraine, Germany, Poland and other countries.
